Chelyabinsk played a move in the big Russian game

Go players from Chelyabinsk continued the "100 moves till Genius Extreme festival" challenge. The moves were played by the participants of the Ural federal district championship under 16. More than 50 players from Chelyabinsk and Ekaterinburg took part in the tournament.

Chelyabinsk is one of the more advanced Go areas in our country. This is largely thanks to the work of an excellent coach and Go master, Evgeny Panyukov. He raised many Go champions — Natalia Kovaleva, Dina Burdakova, Denis Paramonov and Evgeny Manakhov, to name a few.

Free Go classes are held in Chelyabinsk for children aged 7-16 in the Pioneers palace in Aloye pole park.
