"The Far East. Online."

The Khabarovsk Krai Go Federation plunged into the depth of the Internet from the first days of lockdown. For two months their players participated in Go tournaments of various formats. There were regular tournaments, pair events, city battles (for example Vladivostok and Khabarovsk have been competing for a long time).
Whereas the first open tournament "From the Far East to the Baltic" was held with the limit of 64 players, the final round of the first stage of this online project gathered more than a hundred players from 21 cities. The absolute winner was Stepan Trubitsin. You can see the results on the RGF website.
The games were virtual but the prizes are real. The Federation is wrapping gifts and medals and preparing for some new interesting tournaments at the same time.
